To understand Jesel Inc., you should know about the man who created it. Long before 1979 when Jesel Valvetrain Innovation was founded by Dan Jesel, friends and racers knew that he was destined to do something remarkable. From a very young age his interest and comprehension, of all things automotive, was apparent to
everyone who knew him. He started drag racing at New Jersey drag strips in the early 60's. The 1955 Chevy that he built to compete in C/Gas class was a frequent winner at nearby ATCO Dragway. The performance of this race car started to draw attention to this young mechanical wizard. Competitors became customers and Dan started to build race
engines. He formed a partnership with a boyhood friend to build engines and sell race car parts. Though the friend didn't possess the technical expertise with which Dan was endowed, he could "sell ice cubes to Eskimos!". The joint venture of Dan Jesel and Bob Duffy, known simply as Duffy's, would set trends for the fledgling American
speed equipment industry for the next decade!

important part of the ‘Livin It’ program is a 45-minute DVD that was directed and is hosted by Baldwin. The DVD is a contemporary, relevant high-impact outreach tool featuring extreme professional and amateur skateboard and BMX athletes who lead Christian lives. The DVD, released in 2004, also includes bonus materials such as testimonials, outtakes, behind-the-scenes footage and excerpts from Beachfest Fort Lauderdale, winner of the 2003 Best Television Special award from the National Religious Broadcasters. The Oregon-based ministry Luis Palau Association is in partnership with Baldwin on the project.
