Cagnazzi Racing, owned and operated by Victor Cagnazzi, and based in Mooresville, NC, was formed in August 2000. 

Cagnazzi Racing’s first Pro Stock truck team began competing in February 2001 (with Victor Cagnazzi as the driver) while its first Pro Stock car team was formed in January 2002, and began racing in August 2003, with Steve Johns, a former amateur champion, as the driver.

Cagnazzi Racing was formed with the goal of delivering race wins and championships through the utilization of cutting edge technology and proven methods.  The charter of Cagnazzi Racing is defined by two core elements:

Racing competitively in the world of NHRA drag racing and helping its partners reach business objectives and success through professional program management and high-level access to America’s fastest and most exciting form of motorsports.

In addition to its 2 NHRA Pro Stock Championships (2007 and 2008), Cagnazzi Racing has garnered 38 race wins, 67 appearances in the finals, and victories at 21 of 22 NHRA tracks.
