KLR GROUP TEAM NAMED FULL THROTTLE HARD-WORKING CREW OF HOUSTON RACE

HOUSTON (April 30)

Dave Connolly and the KLR Group Chevy team don't get to race often but they made it count with a runner-up finish at the 25th annual O'Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Spring Nationals presented by Super Start Batteries, which led to them being named the Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Award winners in Pro Stock.

"It was an exciting weekend for us all," Connolly said. "The car ran great and we got to put on a show for all the guests of KLR Group, which does a ton of business in Texas. A big tip of the hat goes to Gaston Kearby, GK Motorsports and Cagnazzi Racing for getting us out on the track last weekend."

The Full Throttle Hard-Working Crew Award program awards bonus money to teams in all four NHRA Full Throttle categories ($3,000 in Top Fuel and Funny Car, $1,000 in Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle).
