KYMCO USA SPONSORS 2-TIME NHRA PRO STOCK CHAMPION CAGNAZZI RACING




Spartanburg, SC – KYMCO USA has entered into a partnership with National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) team Cagnazzi Racing, further integrating KYMCO within the sport.

KYMCO USA is providing Cagnazzi Racing with multiple vehicles for their use at NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series events and at its Mooresville, North Carolina (“Race City USA”) facility.

Cagnazzi Racing, owned and operated by Victor Cagnazzi, is the two-time NHRA Pro Stock champion with 31 victories, 306 total round wins and race wins at 21 of 22 NHRA tracks since its inception; most notably via its premier drivers Jeg Coughlin, Jr. and Dave Connolly.

Cagnazzi Racing, owned and operated by Victor Cagnazzi, and based in Mooresville, NC, was formed in August 2000. 

Cagnazzi Racing’s first Pro Stock truck team began competing in February 2001 (with Victor Cagnazzi as the driver) while its first Pro Stock car team was formed in January 2002, and began racing in August 2003, with Steve Johns, a former amateur champion, as the driver.
