Shane Tucker comes from a lifelong background of drag racing.

He is a second generation driver for the well-known and successful Rob Tucker Racing ANDRA
Pro Series Team.  At the age of 16 Shane claimed the Australian Junior Drag Racing Championship.  While in his first season as a Pro, Shane was voted ANDRA Pro Series Rookie of the Year.

Shane has spent the last two seasons full time on the ANDRA Pro Series tour driving for the team headed by his father Rob Tucker.  Prior to this Shane became the first ever Australian Pro Stock racer to successfully complete licensing requirements according to NHRA specifications.

During the time that Shane was in the United States, he was teammates to Jeg Coughlin (5 time NHRA Pro Stock World Champion) and Dave Connolly (22 time NHRA Pro Stock event winner and former Rookie of the Year).

This unmatched team operated under the Cagnazzi Racing banner, which is known as one of the most successful teams in Pro Stock Racing in the world.

Along with honing his driving skills with the best in the business, Shane also become very well educated on the marketing side of becoming a professional motorsports driver.  He put these skills to good use when returning to Australia; successfully securing multiple corporate sponsors including his current primary sponsor, beverage drink giant Monster Energy.

Shane has won multiple ANDRA Pro Series Pro Stock national events since back home in Australia; the biggest being the Castrol Edge Winternationals, for which he has claimed 2 Pro Stock titles 2009 and 2012.  The event is considered to be ‘The Grand-Daddy of Australian Drag Racing.

Tucker is considered by fellow racers as one of the best leavers in the business.   Shane believes although there is always more to learn as a driver he has the ability and experience to compete for an NHRA World Championship if the right opportunity was available.
