Dave Connolly Goes for Second Straight Pro Stock Victory at Atlanta Dragway
COMERCE, Ga., April 23, 2007 – Bravo! Brands Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BRVO): When he arrived at Atlanta Dragway a year ago, Dave Connolly was unranked, unheralded and unhappy.
But he left wearing a big smile and carrying the Pro Stock winner’s trophy after posting an unexpected victory.
When he and the Torco Racing Fuels/Slammers Ultimate Milk Chevy Cobalt team arrive for this year’s Southern Nationals, Connolly will be cool, confident . . . and a contender.

“We hadn’t won many rounds last year going into Atlanta and we won the race,” said Connolly, 24. “We’ve already been to the semifinals three times this year so we hope to do as well as we did last year and get that win. We have an awesome race car. All the testing we’ve done is finally paying off. We are
making good runs now.”
There is always room for improvement, however, and that’s why Connolly will be testing again Monday and Tuesday before making the trek to Commerce, some 65 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. He’ll drive not only his yellow and black Chevy Cobalt but the Slammers Ultimate Milk Cobalt of Cagnazzi Racing teammate
Jeg Coughlin.
“The Atlanta track can be a bit tricky,” added Connolly. “We’ve had a good car at Houston where the track also was tricky and we had good car at Las Vegas (April 15) when the track was real good so we seem to be able to run well in both situations. We seem to have a well-rounded race car that has been making
consistent runs week after week. And that’s what we’re going to continue doing at Atlanta.”
Connolly raced into the semis at Pomona, Calif., Houston and Las Vegas, building his NHRA POWERade Series point total to 329. He is 26 points out of second.
He will be doing double-duty at this event, driving his Super Comp dragster as a teammate of his dad, Ray. “I’m working to get my dad’s dragster ready for the Atlanta race,” added Connolly. “I’ll be driving his car during testing, too.”
