More so than any other team, we believe in a multi-disciplinary approach to racecar development. We proved it last year by taking all of our racecar development and fabrication in-house, an unusual step that shouts our commitment.

Our aerospace-trained engineering team, with the help of Todd Bevis, began with an extensive analysis of the current chassis designs used in NHRA Pro Stock competition. The designs were fed through a series of Finite Element Analysis and computational computer models to understand and map the structural dynamics, load characteristics and aerodynamic properties. Then Frank Dellamura went to work with a clean sheet of paper (actually a clean screen and a mouse) and laid out the new design for Cagnazzi Racing's first generation Pro Stock car.

The new design incorporates a state-of-the-art data acquisition system that will feed the engineering team information needed to revolutionize the design - and how we approach the awesome go-fast physics of a car capable of accelerating from 0-204 MPH in less then 7 seconds.

All of this leads to Cagnazzi Racing's revolutionary commitment to building and competing with the best vehicles and engines in NHRA Pro Stock competition.
